Rain or Shine

As we kick off the peak of our Summer ’26 season following the Independence Day celebrations, it is time to look ahead to this year's Davisville Civic Association (DCA) Annual Meeting.

Following the highly positive feedback from our community last year, we are pleased to return to the East Falmouth Elementary School for our 2026 gathering. This marks our second year utilizing this wonderful indoor space. Gathering here ensures our event remains entirely weatherproof, allowing our neighborhood updates and discussions to proceed smoothly without any threat of rain.

Special Featured Guest Speakers: Major Library Project Update

Building on the momentum of last year's excellent community updates, we are thrilled to welcome our featured guest speakers for 2026:

  • Brian Stokes, Falmouth Library Director

  • Kathleen Beriau, Falmouth Library Support Fund Director

They have some incredibly exciting and timely news to share. The town was recently notified that the Massachusetts Public Library Construction Program has approved Falmouth for a construction matching grant two years ahead of schedule.

Brian and Kathleen will present the preliminary designs for the New East Falmouth Library Branch building, which is slated to replace the outdated current facility on East Falmouth Highway. They will detail how this accelerated timeline changes the upcoming steps for the town, what the funding matching structure looks like, and how the community can get involved. They will also host a live Q&A session to answer all of your questions.

Share Your Ideas

Beyond the library presentation, this meeting is your platform to help shape our neighborhood's future. Please bring your suggestions for upcoming guest speakers, as well as ideas for hands-on civic activities that the DCA can champion to support both Davisville and the wider Falmouth community.

Our Board Officers and Members are eager to connect with you. Your presence and engagement are what make our association thrive every year!

Remember Our DCA Mission:

  • Foster and promote Davisville civic betterments.

  • Maintain Davisville as an attractive and historic residential area.

  • Aid, promote, and support projects which enhance Davisville.

  • Foster and promote traffic safety.

  • Oppose projects which detract from the desirability of Davisville.

See you on July 25th at the East Falmouth Elementary School!
